We also provide for youth ages 12-18 who have been victims of neglect and or abuse who are referred to by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Dominion Resource Center, Inc. will provide a long-term care plan for each youth so that they would develop the necessary skills and practicality for their independent living situation.
For younger children, our group home services can serve as their temporary placement until a foster family can be found for them or until they can return to their original families. Our volunteers and or staff can help each youth with self-care and daily living skills.
Skills that will be taught may include but is not limited to:
- Meal Preparation
